FOOD & BEVERAGE RESTAURANT MANAGER - DURBAN

Job Summary:

• To lead and organize the restaurant team, to set and maintain standards and to strive to always keep improving standards whilst maintaining budget and gross profit.
• Responsible to operate within the policies and procedures as set out in the operating manual.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience in the same or similar role in a 5-star establishment
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous stock control experience
• Knowledgeable in use of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management would be an advantage
• Must be a team leader and excellent with staff
• Must have the ability to manage and lead a team

• Must be well groomed, reliable, courteous and flexible
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Problem-solving and attention to detail
• Charismatic

Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure the guests get the highest level of food and beverage service by making contact with the guests and to check customer’s satisfaction
• Maintain a high standard personal service with all guests
• To take personal responsibility for any guest situations, seeing the situation through to the solution
• To ensure that your outlet is following correct billing procedures so that all revenue is correctly allocated and recorded
• Promoting and maximizing sales
